We are looking for a motivated DevOps Engineer who would have both software engineering experience as well as DevOps/Sysadmin experience however we are open to anyone passionate about creating organized, efficient, and scalable cloud infrastructure which is easy to deploy and maintain
RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Analyze current technology utilized within the company and develop steps and processes to improve and expand upon them
– Build and deploy secure automation, monitoring, and analysis solutions
– Provide detailed specifications for proposed solutions including materials, mock-ups and time necessary
– Work closely with Development and Support teams to specify, build and maintain environments and software needed for projects to be completed efficiently
– Support and work alongside a cross-functional development teams on the latest technologies Requirements
– Minimum of 3 years of systems administration experience, which should include at least 1 year working in an AWS/Azure cloud environment
– Experience with software development pipeline tools: Git, Jira, Jenkins
– Experience with monitoring and configuration management: Dynatrace etc.
– Experience with software engineering with knowledge of Python, Java, JavaScript and Unix scripting
– Experience with virtualization and container management systems
– Current understanding of best practices regarding system security measures
– High-level understanding of working with Linux and Windows operating systems
-Experience working together with teams from several departments to facilitate the orderly execution of a proposed project plan
– Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
